The Forsyth Kennel Club was established in 1933 by dog fanciers in Winston-Salem and surrounding areas to promote the responsible breeding, training and exhibiting of purebred dogs.  We encourage all dog fanciers in the community to share our enjoyment of what is truly "man's best friend", by visting with members at meetings or dog shows. The club is a licensed member of the American Kennel Club

The club meets the first Tuesday of every month, except January and July.  In addition, two all breed dog shows and obedience trials are held at the Joel Veteran's Coliseum in Winston-Salem yearly, along with an all breed match at Tanglewood Park.  The club is a non-profit organization, funding canine research and other worthy projects through donations and endowments, including scholarship programs and research at the North Carolina Veterinary School of Medicine in Raleigh.

Those who wish to learn more about the club, or are interested in  participating in our activities are cordially invited to be our guests at any meeting of the Forsyth Kennel Club.  Our club meets 7:30 PM (first Tuesday of each month, except July) at Miller Park Recreation Center at 400 Leisure Lane, Winston-Salem, NC.  Map below
